more than the dealers, if not just hit. - If you have 12 thru 16 total, hit as long as dealers upcard is 7 or higher, stand if the dealer is showing less than 7.
- For 17 or higher always stand, unless soft 17 (ie Ace plus 6), for soft 13 – 18 double down when the dealers upcard is a 5 or 6
- With Soft 17 or lower always hit
- Soft 19 always stand
- Always split a pairs of aces or 8’s
- Never split 4’s, 5’s or 10’s
- Split all other pairs when dealer’s upcard is less than a 6
- In general when winning you need to bet big, when losing be very patient
Roulette in Las Vegas is an easy game to play, even those of us who have never really gambled know the basic rules. Basically, all you do is follow the little ball until it drops in a numbered/colored slot. Remember that the house has an advantage in roulette odds and to reduce this advantage look out for Casino’s that offer single Zero tables. Avoid the sucker bets on the table such as the five number bet. Understand that Realize you won’t get rich playing roulette and in the long run you will likely lose money. The systems you hear about simply won’t work so dont obsess over them. just concentrate on having a good time and getting plenty of free alcohol!
