Las Vegas is renowned as an adult and gambling playground, however if you’re planning a vacation with the kids, there are plenty of attractions that are child friendly. The adventure dome at Circus Circus is a huge indoor amusement park spread over five acres, so is a perfect resort for those very occasional bad weather Las Vegas days. Another great attraction for the kids has to be the Lied Discovery Children’s Museum. Once the kids get inside they will never want to leave there are tons of hands on exhibits which I bought educational and fun, with plenty to interest adults also. These seem to run different promotions and special events every single month and always seem to have new exhibits cropping up to keep the visitors coming back for more. Kids can learn all about science here while having fun and not even realise they are learning.

The Nevada State Museum & Historical Society is a great place for kids to learn all about the history of Nevada including recent history such as the growth of the casinos, and ancient history going all the back to the age of the dinosaurs. They are both permanent and temporary exhibits including of course there aforementioned dinosaurs and much more. For those on a budget this is a great day out as the price of admission for adults is just four dollars and kids under 17 get in free.
